1. Google Arts and Culture Tour of MLK’s Life
I recently attended a tech conference where I was introduced to Google Arts and Culture. Have you explored this site? There are a lot of fun and interactive experiences. For Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, I love this photo tour of places from his life! It’s a bit wordy for my kindergarten ESL students, but the immersive visuals are a fun way to feel a part of his life. 2. BrainPOP Junior’s FREE Section
My school district happens to have a paid subscription to BrainPOP Jr., but did you know that there are some areas that are completely free? I couldn’t quite believe it myself, but I had my hubby check it out just to be sure. It’s true, you can access this great Martin Luther King Jr. section without a subscription! 3. Epic Online Books
Are you a teacher? Epic online books are free for educators! When I was teaching virtually last year, I found Epic to be an invaluable resource. Now that I’m teaching in person (at least for the moment), I still enjoy using Epic. The selection of books about Martin Luther King, Jr. is HUGE!
